Aidan Hart . Iconographer

Born in 1957,  Aidan Hart has been a full-time Orthodox iconographer in England for eighteen years, working to commission.

His many commissions include H.R.H The Prince of Wales, Hereford Cathedral and Ivron Monastery in Mount Athos.

He trained in England and Greece and has also travelled and researched in Russia. He paints icons and frescoes using the traditional techniques such as egg tempera mixed with natural pigments. He also carves in wood and stone, and does silverwork.
